Sunan Abi Dawud 24699
In-book no 4195حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الْقَزَعِ وَهُوَ أَنْ يُحْلَقَ رَأْسُ الصَّبِيِّ فَتُتْرَكَ لَهُ ذُؤَابَةٌ .
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade qaza' which means that the head of a boy is shaved and a lock is left.
