Sahih al-Bukhari 3475
In-book no 3475حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَعَى جَعْفَرًا وَزَيْدًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجِيءَ خَبَرُهُمْ، وَعَيْنَاهُ تَذْرِفَانِ.
Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet (ﷺ) had informed us of the death of Ja`far and Zaid before the news of their death reached us, and his eyes were shedding tears.
