Sahih Muslim 7649
In-book no 372حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الأَشْجَعِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبْجَرَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ، يَقُولُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ إِنَّ مُوسَى - عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ - سَأَلَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنْ أَخَسِّ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنْهَا حَظًّا . وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ .
Sha'bi reported he had heard al-Mughira b. Shu'ba say on the pulpit that Moses (peace be upon him) had asked Allah, Exalted and Great, about the reward of the lowest of the inhabitants of Paradise, and the remaining part of hadith is the same (as narrated) above.
