In-book no 2878حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نِيْزَكَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَيَّاةَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالتَّعَرِّي فَإِنَّ مَعَكُمْ مَنْ لاَ يُفَارِقُكُمْ إِلاَّ عِنْدَ الْغَائِطِ وَحِينَ يُفْضِي الرَّجُلُ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَاسْتَحْيُوهُمْ وَأَكْرِمُوهُمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَأَبُو مُحَيَّاةَ اسْمُهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى .
Narrated Abu Muhayyah: from Laith, from Nafi, from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Beware of nakedness! For indeed there are with you, those who do not part from you except at the place of defecation, and when a man goes into his wife. So be shy of them and honor them."
