Al-'Adiyat 100:3

Surah al-Adiyat is, according to the prevailing view, Meccan, though some held it Medinan. Opening with an oath by the charging steeds, it declares that man is ungrateful to his Lord and gripped by an intense love of wealth. Recalling the day when the contents of the graves are brought out and all is laid bare, it warns those who, in their worldly greed, forget the Hereafter.
