77:4

فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًا

Surah-wide

Surah al-Mursalat is Meccan, held to belong to the early Meccan phase. As related from Ibn Mas'ud in Bukhari, it was revealed while the Prophet was with his companions in a cave at Mina. With its refrain 'Woe that day to the deniers', it warns again and again the Meccan disbelievers who rejected the Judgment and the reckoning.
