Al-Qalam 68:11

Surah al-Qalam is Meccan and among the very earliest revelations; classical orderings of revelation list it second, after Surah al-Alaq. It answers the polytheists' charge that the Prophet was 'possessed' by declaring that he stands upon an exalted character. Through the parable of the owners of the garden it also warns those made insolent by their blessings, and it counsels the Prophet to patience through the example of the prophet Jonah.
