At-Tariq 86:6

Surah at-Tariq is Meccan, held to belong to the early Meccan period. It declares that over every soul there is a watcher, and from man's creation out of a humble fluid it establishes that God is able to bring him back to life. Emphasizing that the Quran is a decisive word separating truth from falsehood, it announces that the Meccan deniers who plot against it are being granted only a respite.
