يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تَنصُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ
O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.

Revelation context of the surah
Surah-wideSurah Muhammad is Medinan, dated to the first years after the Hijra, around the time of Badr according to the predominant view. Its main subjects are the legitimacy of fighting, the treatment of captives, and the reluctant attitude of the hypocrites; it alludes to the believers' expulsion from Mecca.
