قُلْ مَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّآ أَوْ إِيَّاكُمْ لَعَلَىٰ هُدًى أَوْ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
Say, "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "Allah. And indeed, we or you are either upon guidance or in clear error."
Revelation context of the surah
Surah-wideSaba is Meccan, dated to the middle-to-late Meccan period. It responds to the pagans' denial of the hereafter and of revelation, contrasting the blessings granted to David and Solomon with the fate of the ungrateful people of Sheba.
