وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ ٦٦

And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?

Ya-Sin is Meccan, dated to the middle Meccan period. It treats the truth of the prophetic mission and the resurrection of the dead; according to a well-known report, its closing verses answered a denier who crumbled a decayed bone and asked, 'Who will bring this back to life?'
